Are you an experienced candidate who can provide exceptional customer service? We are looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team! The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for providing a welcoming office environment for our patients, partners, and vendors. The successful candidate has a bright and shiny personality, must love working with people, is detail-oriented, and learns quickly in a fast-paced setting. They should be capable of working independently, take initiative, and have excellent communication skills with an outstanding professional presentation.
Job Duties Include:
- Scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments
- Answering a high volume of telephone calls in a friendly and helpful manner
- Collecting copayments, deductibles, and other balances due at the time of service.
- Accurately collecting patient demographic and billing information. Scanning insurance cards, documents and updating information in the database as needed
- Have a working knowledge of skin care products and cosmetic services
- Scanning charts and other data entry
- Other duties as requested
Required Qualifications: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); Must have one year of previous experience as a medical receptionist; Must have exceptional customer service skills, be highly organized, self-motivated and very detail oriented. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
