# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – North Dakota**Start Date:** October 26, 2026 **Location:** Fargo, North Dakota **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 3x12 hour shifts with rotating days/nights based on unit needs; every other weekend and every other holiday required**Highlights:** - 32-bed Medical Surgical unit within a Level 1 Trauma Center with 250+ beds- Patient ratios of 4-5:1 on day shift, 6:1 on night shift- EPIC EMR system with Omnicell and Alaris IV pump experience- Neuro patient exposure preferred; strong general medical surgical skills essential- Opportunity to work across multiple facilities within the region- 13-week assignment with professional development in a large acute care environment**Requirements:** - Active North Dakota or Compact State RN License (or willingness to obtain)- Minimum 1-2 years recent Medical Surgical nursing experience in a large hospital setting (200+ beds)- Previous travel nursing experience with successful assignment completion- Level 1 Trauma Center experience required- BLS certification (American Heart Association)- NIHSS certification- EPIC EMR experience- Willingness to float to all medical surgical units across multiple locations as needed- Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma environment while developing diverse clinical skills across multiple medical surgical units.
