Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• ASN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - General Med/Tele skillset: cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone), care of patients with tubes/drains, IV start skills, blood products, wound care/dressing changes.

Special Requests: - RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays; must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours.

Unit Details: - Patient population includes chronic diseases, CHF specialty area, mental health, addiction services for patients requiring 6 weeks of IV abx, COPD, DM, wounds, and geriatric care. - RN ratios: 1:4-6, acuity dependent; surge times could increase to 1:7-8. - Department equipment includes scales, GBS machine, transfer device, vein finder, EKG, crash cart, language interpreter, tele-medicine cart for online assessments of patients, and doppler. - Free parking

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - No call required. - Travelers will work 75% of holidays. - 6-week schedules.

Floating Requirements: - Within Region 1 and scope of practice: Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (peds only)); could float to any facility within the region if the need arises.

6 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
