The Quality Engineer will play a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations by driving process improvements and conducting thorough root cause investigations. This position reports directly to the Quality Manager and focuses on maintaining high-quality standards aligned with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements, with no travel obligations for audits.
Responsibilities
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency
- Conduct root cause investigations to address quality issues and prevent recurrence
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management system standards
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions and quality controls
- Support continuous improvement efforts within the manufacturing environment
Required Qualifications
- Certified in Six Sigma methodologies
- Thorough knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in quality engineering within manufacturing
