As a Security Officer Unarmed Cleared in Jupiter, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location as an Access Control Officer, helping manage entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working as part of a caring team that leads with integrity.

Pay Rate: $30.62 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a highly regulated aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and document access activity to help support security-related protocols and restricted area requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, production areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity and/or conditions requiring attention.
• Support badge processing, visitor management, and delivery screening while maintaining detailed records and providing clear instructions aligned with site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, corrections or military experience.
• Must possess a Secret Clearance
• Armed guard card is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
