Role Description

Riley & Colaizzo Insurance is seeking a full-time, on-site Customer Service Representative to join our team in Allison Park, PA.

This position is designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in the insurance industry. The initial focus will be customer service and learning our agency, carriers, products, and systems, with the opportunity to gradually transition into a Sales Producer role once sufficiently trained and prepared.

Responsibilities include:

• Answering incoming client calls and assisting with policy questions
• Processing policy changes and updates
• Assisting clients with billing and claims-related questions
• Troubleshooting coverage and account issues
• Communicating with insurance carriers on behalf of clients
• Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
• Providing a high level of customer service throughout each interaction
• Working closely with other members of the agency to resolve client needs

Although this position begins primarily as a customer service role, it also includes performance-based bonus opportunities , allowing motivated team members to earn additional compensation while developing their skills.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with computers, office software, and data-entry systems
• Ability to learn insurance products, coverage terminology, and carrier systems
• Previous insurance experience is beneficial but not required
• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or another client-facing position is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree is a plus
