Outpatient Infusion Pharmacist Location: Hood River, Oregon

Duration: 13 Weeks Requirements:
- Active Oregon Pharmacist License required
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience
- First-time travelers accepted
- Outpatient Infusion Pharmacy experience required
- Strong knowledge of medication preparation, dispensing, and monitoring practices
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- Review, verify, and dispense medications in accordance with physician orders and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and oversee infusion therapies while ensuring medication safety and accuracy
- Monitor patient medication regimens for effectiveness, interactions, and adverse reactions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide medication counseling and education to patients and healthcare staff as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with pharmacy policies and standards
- Participate in quality improvement and medication safety initiatives
- No floating required
- No on-call requirements
- No weekend requirements
- Block scheduling available
- Expected workload ratio: 1:20
- Previous outpatient infusion pharmacy experience
- Experience in a hospital or ambulatory infusion setting
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records
