Join us and take your place in space.Classified Services is responsible for Aerospace's classified enterprise IT environment. As a Classified Systems Administrator (Systems Administration Staff III/IV), you will oversee server and endpoint infrastructure that supports some of the company's most critical missions. You will join a company that develops cutting edge solutions for our nation's most complex space enterprise and mission assurance challenges.The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site in Huntsville, AL.What You'll Be DoingPerform all aspects of system administration, including:Installing, configuring, and patching operating systems and applicationsManaging user accounts, permissions, and group policiesMaintaining and monitoring system performance and availabilityResponding to and resolving incidents, from Tier 1 user support through Tier 3 complex technical issuesAdminister, secure, and maintain a diverse infrastructure including:Windows Server/Desktop, Linux, and VirtualizationAdminister and improve endpoint protection, backup, and disaster recovery capabilitiesDevelop PowerShell and Ansible scripts to automate administration and compliance tasksEvaluate and remediate security findings from Tenable (ACAS) and SCAP/STIG toolsMaintain compliance with RMF, NIST 800-53, and DISA STIG requirementsWhat You Need to be SuccessfulMinimum Requirements for Systems Administration Staff III :Active Secret clearanceDoD approved 8570 baseline certification such as Security+ or equivalentMinimum 6 or more years of relevant experience with Bachelor's DegreeProficiency with Windows Server/Active Directory and Windows DesktopWorking knowledge of RMF, NIST 800-53, and DISA STIGsDemonstrated ability to remediate vulnerabilities identified by ACAS and SCAP toolsIn addition to the above, the minimum requirements for Systems Administration Staff IV include:Minimum 10 or more years of relevant experience with Bachelor's Degree or, 8 or more years of relevant experience with Master's DegreeExperience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMWare VSphere) and Cisco networking (IOS, Nexus OS)Experience automating repetitive tasks with scripting or DevOps toolsKnowledge and experience deploying SPLUNK and other cyber toolsHow You Can Stand OutIt would be impressive if you have these:Advanced degree/certificationsAn active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibilityExperience in designing, deploying, and securing complex IT architecturesAbility to brief leadership and coordinate with stakeholders on technical solutionsProject management skills and experienceWe offer a competitive compensation package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business.
