You will be the primary link between product operations/supply chain and hardware development, advocating operational excellence and guiding new products through the entire life‑cycle, including production ramp within agreement manufacturer/original design manufacturer/joint development manufacturer environments. You will ensure all products are built to Google’s stringent quality and manufacturing requirements. Projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres; you will be responsible for coordinating and keeping the team up to date on progress and deadlines. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Lead cross‑functional program teams within Google with external partners to prepare for production ramp or product transitions. Plan and execute operations development activities and ensure transition to production within cost, quality, and capacity parameters. Manage ramp readiness with internal teams as well as external partners (e.g., material availability, cost/assembly/test/capacity readiness and transition plans). Motivate cross‑functional teams to optimize the supply chain for specific reasons, while accounting for risks, changes in schedule, or demand.
