Restorative Nursing Aide - Full Time

Role Summary: The restorative nursing aide provides resident care in a long-term care setting, supporting residents' independence and quality of life. Responsibilities include implementing mobility exercises, fall prevention, body positioning, and assisting with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and eating. They document care progress, monitor resident conditions, and report changes promptly. The role involves using adaptive equipment, adhering to infection control protocols, and accurately documenting in EMR. The aide collaborates with nursing staff under RN supervision, ensuring age-appropriate, resident-centered care. Qualifications & Skills: Must be CNA certified and at least 16 years old. Prior clinical or long-term care experience is preferred. Completion of a CNA training program and specialized restorative care training (may be provided) is required. Maintaining competency testing and continuing education credits is necessary. Some roles may require a valid driver’s license and medical clearance for driving responsibilities.
