In this role as a Tax/Staff Accountant, you will work directly with clients to handle their accounting needs, prepare tax returns, and provide strategic financial guidance. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations while helping clients optimize their financial outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to grow professionally in a supportive and collaborative environment.Responsibilities:• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance.• Manage individual, corporate, and partnership tax return preparation while adhering to federal and state regulations.• Process complex Tax returns• Maintain organized records of financial transactions and tax filings for accuracy and accessibility.• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, provide updates, and address any inquiries.• Collaborate with colleagues to improve accounting workflows and enhance overall client service.• Stay informed about updates to tax laws and accounting standards to ensure compliance and best practices.• Assist clients with complex tax filings and resolve any issues related to their financial documentation.• Provide guidance on the utilization of accounting and tax software to streamline processes.
