Join to apply for the Physician (Radiology) role at Indian Health Service Summary This position is located at one of the various Indian Health Service Hospitals or Clinics under the Navajo Area Office. The position involves functioning as a radiologist responsible for interpreting and evaluating diagnostic radiologic procedures, including fluoroscopic exams, special procedures, roentgenograms, CT, MRI, mammography, and sonographic exams. The cases will range from common to complex and unusual within the specialty field. Duties Interview and examine patients, review medical history, and perform diagnostic tests as needed. Refer patients to appropriate medical or governmental facilities and provide clinical information for care. Respond to emergency interventions and collaborate with other medical departments. Serve as an expert in the specialty and perform administrative duties as assigned.
