Senior Associate or Counsel

New York, New York – Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP is hiring a Senior Associate/Counsel to join its Finance practice section, focusing on aviation‑related transactions. The role involves advising banks, leasing companies, airlines, investors, traders and manufacturers on aviation finance, including financing, leasing, trading, restructuring, enforcement and joint‑venture creation. Responsibilities Advise clients on the interpretation of secured, unsecured and guaranteed financing documents, including security interests under Article9 of the UCC and the CapeTown Convention. Draft and negotiate credit agreements, indentures, leases, purchase agreements and related documentation. Manage and close aviation‑related financing transactions typically $100+million. Provide oral and written analysis to clients. Support export‑credit‑agency‑backed financing and capital markets transactions. Qualifications Large law firm experience managing multiple internal and external clients and matters simultaneously. Strong academic background with exceptional drafting, negotiating and organizational skills. Experience in the aviation finance and leasing industry and related corporate matters. Member in good standing of the NewYork bar. Pay range: $390,000–$435,000 (dependent on skill set and experience).
