Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified OR / Surgical Technologist in a surgical environment
• Experience with Neuro/Spine, Vascular, and Orthopedic cases required
• Familiarity with OR equipment and working in an OR setting using Cerner EMR
• Ability to work scheduled on-call weekends as assigned by the coordinator

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DaVinci robotic systems
• Experience with maxillofacial cases

• Shift Hours: 0600-1430
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: on call
• Call Requirements: evenly distributed by Coordinator
• Unit: Main OR. Patient ratios typically 1:1. Number of beds on unit: 24
