SUMMARY:The Senior Project Specialist plans and coordinates project deliverables to ensure completion by specified date, within budget, and established guidelines.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Meets with department teams to understand project parameters.Establish work plans and specifications to outline the time frame and budgetary parameters.Coordinates activities to ensure project is on schedule and within budget. Tracks action item status and reports status to team to assist in timely response and follow-up on commitments.Trouble-shoots issues and proactively reports roadblocks or obstacles to ensure earliest resolution to meet time commitments. Escalates to management as appropriate for resolution. Coordinates meetings and event times, locations, attendees and other amenities as appropriate. Takes meeting minutes and distributes to participants and other stakeholders.Documents project progression, timelines and prepares reports as needed.Prepare presentations for business owners or sponsors. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:N/A KEY SUCCESS INDICATORS/ATTRIBUTES:Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment.Demonstrate strong organizational skills and be detail oriented.Self-motivated and self-directed.Ability to achieve set goals and deadlines.Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Proficient personal computer skills with MS Office (Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Excel). Working knowledge of MS Project and Visio.Commitment and adherence to the Firm’s core values. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:Associates degree and 5-7 years work experience coordinating complex work assignments within a department or function or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.
