Job Description
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule

12-hour Evening / Night Shifts with Weekend and Holiday Rotation.

Assignment Details

This position will float to the Emergency Department.

Requirements

• Active RN Licensure in the state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; education verification required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in patient care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following nursing standards and state laws.
• Document care according to standards.
• Perform assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations of care.
• Develop and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and peer review processes.
