Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, providing care within the patient's home. The home care setting allows for tailored intervention in familiar environments, which can facilitate quicker recovery times and personal comfort. Operating Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, our therapists enjoy a collaborative work culture rooted in mutual support and shared goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of patients, evaluating their medical history, functional limitations, and rehabilitation goals to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Design and implement individualized plans of care based on assessment findings, actively engaging patients in their treatment process to foster commitment and adherence.
• Utilize evidence-based practices, progressive exercise prescription, and manual therapy techniques to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies and care plans as required to meet evolving patient needs.
• Provide education and support to patients regarding their conditions and the rehabilitation process, encouraging active participation in their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients who have sustained injuries or surgeries affecting their musculoskeletal system. You will assist individuals of varying ages and backgrounds, designing rehabilitation programs that cater to diverse needs—ranging from post-operative care to sports rehabilitation. Your work will directly impact their physical capabilities and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• A clear disciplinary record with no board actions against your license.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience focused on orthopedic physical rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques.
• Experience in creating and delivering exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with home care practices and documentation procedures in patient health record systems.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
