Sales Development Representative

Role Overview

Drive B2B lead generation while applying real-world sales expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. This remote contractor role supports a customer project focused on improving how AI models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality input from experienced sales professionals. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Build B2B lead pipelines through outbound cold calls, email outreach, and social channels.
• Research, identify, and qualify potential business opportunities across target markets and verticals.
• Lead consultative prospect conversations, communicate value propositions, and address objections.
• Accurately document prospect interactions and pipeline activity in CRM systems.
• Work with project coordinators and client stakeholders to align messaging and improve outreach approaches.
• Provide feedback informed by real-world sales interactions and industry practices to strengthen AI training data.
• Analyze outreach results and recommend continuous improvements to outbound strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent hands-on B2B sales development experience, with demonstrated outbound prospecting success.
• Expertise in cold calling, lead qualification, and consultative selling within complex sales cycles.
• Proficiency with CRM tools for pipeline management and activity tracking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with professionalism and clarity.
• Ability to tailor messaging for varied industries and customer personas.
• Strong analytical and feedback skills to support data-driven AI system training.
• Experience with technology-enabled sales engagements or AI-related projects is a plus.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $30 to $42 per hour.
