Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a passionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated School Mental Health Team, operating within a unique and supportive private school setting in Augusta, Kansas. This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work while enabling you to provide essential mental health services to our diverse student body. Work Environment\n

This remote work position allows you to engage collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and educational staff. You will participate actively in a supportive school culture that values mental health and well-being, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends required to ensure complete coverage of mental health services.

  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students to understand their individual histories, presenting challenges, and any risky behaviors.

  • Develop and execute personalized treatment plans in partnership with students that target their mental health issues while promoting emotional stability and academic success.
  • \n
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care tailored to each student's unique needs.

  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing personal development, emotional regulation, and resilience.

  • Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for our students.
  • \n
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention during mental health emergencies and coordinate referrals for further care when necessary.
  • \n
  • Deliver psychoeducation sessions for students and families, empowering them to navigate mental health challenges and utilize available resources.
  • \n
  • Maintain precise documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards.
  • \n
  • Engage in continual learning through team meetings, case reviews, and professional development activities to enhance service delivery.
  • \n
  • Stay informed about the latest mental health laws and ethical guidelines pertinent to school-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will involve working with a diverse student population that includes individuals facing a variety of mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma-related challenges. You will be instrumental in creating a safe and inclusive environment where students feel valued and understood while addressing their complex needs effectively.

Qualifications\n

  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • \n
  • Active and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Kansas.
  • \n
  • A minimum of two years post-licensure experience, ideally in a mental health or educational context.
  • \n
  • In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • \n
  • Proven competency in conducting mental health assessments and treatment planning.
  • \n
  • Experience in conducting both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing varied therapeutic techniques.
  • \n
  • Strong crisis management skills to effectively respond to urgent situations.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills conducive to building trust with students from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience in a school setting or with adolescents.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technology used to track patient progress.

  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
