This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. Our regular office hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, fostering a structured yet flexible routine conducive to both client care and employee wellness.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients, identifying their emotional and psychological needs to inform personalized treatment plans.

• Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques specific to geriatric mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on elderly clients, many of whom face challenges related to aging, such as bereavement, dementia, depression, and anxiety stemming from life transitions. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, necessitating a culturally sensitive approach to counseling. You will be instrumental in helping them improve their emotional resilience and navigate the complexities of later life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of 4 years of recent experience in geriatric mental health counseling or a closely related field.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions tailored for elderly clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
