Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Scottsbluff, NE. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living and work-related skills while working in a hospital setting. This role offers opportunities to work in inpatient and outpatient environments and support interdisciplinary care.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Nebraska Occupational Therapist license required prior to start of assignment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or equivalent required upon hire.
  • Clinical experience in hospital settings, including inpatient care, outpatient care, or both.
  • Ability to perform standard OT evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document in electronic health records.
  • Willingness to follow site-specific performance expectations and facility policies; failure to meet expectations may result in contract termination.
  • For the outpatient position: PAMS certification preferred and required for that specific opening.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior travel therapy experience in acute care or outpatient hospital settings.
  • Experience with work conditioning, ADL/IADL training, splinting, and adaptive equipment recommendations.
  • Experience using common EMR systems in hospital environments.

Assignment Details

  • Day shift schedule (daytime hours).
  • Positions available in both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings.
  • Outpatient position requires PAMS certification.
  • Must meet facility performance expectations; contract may be terminated if expectations are not met.
