Salary 120k-160k
We’re a growing public accounting firm looking to add an experienced Audit Manager to our Nonprofit & Government Services team. This opportunity is ideal for professionals located in or around the Burlington, NC area who are looking for a flexible hybrid environment with strong long-term growth potential.
Our team works closely with mission-driven organizations including nonprofits, foundations, associations, charter schools, healthcare organizations, and government-funded entities. What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage audits, reviews, and compilations for nonprofit and governmental clients
- Oversee Single Audits and compliance engagements
- Serve as the primary client contact and build long-term relationships
- Review financial statements and audit workpapers
- Mentor and develop seniors and staff accountants
- Assist with practice development and client growth initiatives
- Work closely with leadership on engagement strategy and team planning
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of public accounting audit experience
- Strong background working with nonprofit, governmental, or Single Audit clients
- CPA preferred or actively pursuing
- Experience managing engagements and leading teams
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to balance multiple projects in a collaborative environment
