Loan Processor

Bank of Marin, voted by our employees as one of the “Best Places to Work” in the North Bay Business Journal, is seeking a Loan Processing Associate to join our Consumer Lending team on-site in Novato, California or Rancho Cordova, California. The Loan Processing Associate is a support position that works in conjunction with Consumer Loan Officers in processing consumer loan applications in an efficient and timely manner. This position is responsible for following loan lending guidelines, processes and procedures including verifying assets, employment, liabilities, ordering title reports, insurance and loan documents on applications they have been assigned. In addition, this position reviews all data submitted with loan applications to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and then enters the data into the Loan Origination System. Requirements Ability to calculate basic loan payment amounts. Ability to understand title and credit bureau reports. Proficient computer skills with specific knowledge of Word and Excel. Banking or mortgage experience necessary. Professional Experience 2 - 4 year’s relevant banking experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Educational/Professional Experience Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training. The hiring pay range for this position is $25.74 to $34.73. In addition to the pay range listed, all bank positions are eligible for incentive compensation, which varies based on role. The pay rate for a successful applicant depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
