Job Summary and Responsibilities As an Urgent Care Physician (MD or DO), you will join the thriving Dignity Health Medical Group - Dominican , playing a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in our Capitola, CA clinic. You will provide comprehensive Urgent Care services to a diverse community, focusing on lower acuity cases and a variety of acute illnesses and minor trauma. To be successful in this role, you will be a compassionate and skilled Urgent Care Physician seeking a fulfilling career with exceptional work-life balance, practice autonomy, and minimal bureaucracy. Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse community, managing 20-35 patients per day. Perform procedures such as suturing and splinting for simple lacerations, sprains, strains, and minor trauma. Manage acute illnesses, including catheter care and IV fluid administration. 15 shifts per month (180 shifts per year) including 2 weekend shifts per month.
