Area Manager

An established and highly regarded Miami-based hospitality group is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee multiple locations and drive operational excellence, team development, and exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on leader with experience managing multi‑unit restaurant, gourmet market, or high‑volume full‑service concepts and a passion for developing teams, elevating standards, and creating memorable guest experiences. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations across multiple locations, ensuring consistency in service, quality, and operational standards Lead, coach, and develop General Managers and leadership teams to achieve company goals Partner with leadership and HR on recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, and team development Drive sales growth while maintaining strong controls around labor, food, beverage, supply costs, and overall profitability Review financial performance, including P&L results, inventory controls, labor management, and operational metrics Ensure exceptional guest experiences through strong hospitality standards and service execution Maintain food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and safety standards across all locations Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives that enhance efficiency and performance Support new location openings, operational rollouts, and company initiatives Ensure compliance with company policies, health regulations, safety standards, and employment guidelines Review scheduling, staffing levels, and business demands to ensure proper coverage and cost management Serve as a leader and mentor who builds a positive, accountable, and collaborative culture Qualifications 5+ years of leadership experience in multi‑unit restaurant, gourmet market, upscale casual, or full‑service hospitality environments Proven success leading multiple locations and developing high‑performing teams Experience with new restaurant/location openings strongly preferred Strong knowledge of P&L management, labor controls, inventory, and operational reporting Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment Strong understanding of hospitality, guest service, and team culture Wine knowledge required; strong beverage knowledge preferred Experience with POS systems, inventory platforms, and operational technology Food Handler and Florida Sanitation Certification required Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent hospitality leadership experience considered This role is ideal for a hospitality leader who believes in creating a strong culture, investing in people, and delivering a level of service that keeps guests coming back. #J-18808-Ljbffr AppleOne Employment Services
