Competitive and Meaningful Earnings Compensation for both teaching and non-teaching work (grading, class preparation, parent communication) Performance-based increases and advancement opportunities Potential to continue into year-round teaching, creating more stable long-term earnings What You’ll Do Teach math classes in a clear, engaging, and student-centered way Deliver lessons using Think Academy’s curriculum, lesson materials, and instructional guidance Support students in building strong understanding of G3-G5 math content Manage a virtual or in-person classroom and create a positive, high-expectation learning environment Grade homework and provide timely academic feedback Communicate professionally with students and parents about progress, performance, and learning goals Participate in teacher training, lesson preparation, and ongoing professional development Work approximately 30–40 hours per week, with most classes scheduled during weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends Who We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress Strong math foundation and comfort with elementary school math topics or above Passion for teaching and supporting student growth Strong communication and interpersonal skills Available for paid training in April or May and able to begin teaching in early summer Available to work during weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends Experience in tutoring, mentoring, coaching, camp teaching, classroom teaching, or working with younger students is a plus Math competition background (such as AMC or related experience) is a plus, but not required Compensation & Benefits Teaching Hours: $35-45/hour Non-Teaching/Admin Hours: $16–20/hour for grading, class preparation, parent communication, and related work Performance-Based Increases: Opportunities for bonuses and pay rate growth based on performance and long-term contribution Consistent Teaching Opportunities: Strong teachers may continue into year-round teaching opportunities, creating more stable long-term earnings Benefits: 401(k), health insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance based on eligibility Visa Support: Work visa sponsorship may be considered for long-term, high-performing teachers Think Academy is an equal opportunity employer.
