We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute-care environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an ER RN who enjoys critical thinking, teamwork, and caring for a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients, including identifying changes in condition.
• Provide medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as ordered.
• Review and evaluate diagnostic tests and patient information.
• Develop and update individualized patient care plans.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations and changing patient needs.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Delegate and supervise nursing support staff as appropriate.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Acute Care ER RN experience required
• Active Florida RN license or eligible compact RN license
• Associate Degree in Nursing required
• BLS required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire
• PALS required within 30 days of hire
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
