Site-based roles are integral to maintaining high standards throughout every stage of the build process. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Manager role based in Riverside, CA. The Site Manager oversees day-to-day construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors and site staff, supervising work schedules, monitoring progress against plans, and maintaining accurate site records. The role manages health and safety compliance, conducts site inspections, and resolves issues that arise during construction. The Site Manager also liaises with project managers, design teams, suppliers, and inspectors, supports handover to customers, and represents the company professionally on site. Qualifications Proven experience managing residential or commercial construction sites, including coordinating trades and supervising site teams. Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, health and safety standards, and quality control procedures. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project programs, and to track progress against milestones. Effective communication, leadership, and people-management skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders. Competence using project management tools, site reporting systems, and basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, document tools). Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to make sound decisions under time pressure. Relevant construction or engineering qualification, or equivalent practical experience; professional certifications (e.g., safety or site management) are an advantage.
