Staff Occupational Therapist
Responsible for screening, evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning for patients in various settings. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary treatment team. Manages patient caseloads in all clinical settings from screenings and evaluations through discharges. Complies with State and Federal Regulations. Provides the necessary documentation for billing purposes. Communicates effectively with physicians and other members of the rehabilitation team regarding treatment plans and patient responses. Counsels patients and families according to the degree of disability or impairment. Completes all required documentation thoroughly and in a timely manner. Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings. Maintains established policies and procedures, quality assurance programs, and safety standards. Attends meetings and in-service sessions as directed. Requires regular attendance and punctuality. Performs other duties as assigned.
