Registered Nurse - Case Management - Hospital

Travel RN - Case Manager
Location

Alexandria, Louisiana
Schedule / Job Type

Conduct face-to-face patient and family interviews to assess care needs and facilitate discharge planning
Perform InterQual reviews on all assigned patients, including observation reviews and discharge planning evaluations (DPEs)
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds (MDRs) on assigned units daily
Manage a caseload with a patient ratio of approximately 1:40 Monday through Friday across the entire hospital, including Women & Children's and the Emergency Department
Utilize EMR systems (MediTech and Midas) to document case management activities and track patient progress
Float throughout the entire hospital as needed, including Women & Children's and ED units

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of case management experience
Proficiency with Midas and InterQual
Licensed Master's degree in a relevant field
Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with diverse patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Experience / Skills

Knowledge of local and regional community resources
NATE certification or equivalent
Experience working in a high-census acute care hospital environment
