Coastal Kids Pediatrics is searching for a full-time Outpatient Pediatrician to join our Newport Beach practice. Coastal Kids is Southern California's premier pediatric medical group, serving families for more than 25 years. Full -time position at Coastal Kids -Fountain Valley and Newport Beach 4 or 5-day work week, 8:30am-5:30pm with rotated weekends Newborn Rounding + Rotated Call Schedule EMR: eClinical Works + Efficient charting with AI technology Solely focused on pediatric primary care Medical/Dental/Vision - Benefits effective day one Life Insurance Short/Long Term Disability 401(k) with matching benefit Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Medical Malpractice Licensure Renewals and Maintenance of Board Certification AI Scribe Technology Education, Licensure & Certification M.D. or D.O. degree required Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of California. Current, Unrestricted California state specific DEA license Board Eligible or Board Certification appropriate for degree certified within five years of finishing training. Meets all requirements in order to obtain medical staff membership and required privileges. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment. Pediatric Associates offers are based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate’s education, work experience, and certifications, all of which are dependent on the requirements of the specific role.
