Growing together.The Accounting Consultant is a mid-level finance professional responsible for supporting core accounting functions, including general ledger activities, financial analysis, and reporting. This role ensures accuracy, compliance with GAAP, and supports financial close and audit processes.Primary Responsibilities:Maintain general ledger accounts and support financial reporting activitiesPerform account reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesPrepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAPAnalyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisionsAssist in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesPrepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements (minor)Support internal and external audit requests and documentationEnsure compliance with accounting policies, controls, and regulatory requirementsIdentify process improvement opportunitiesPartner with cross-functional teamsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, in Accounting/Finance and/or related Banking OperationsExtensive reconciliation process experienceExperience with large data setsExperience with account reconciliationWorking knowledge of GAAP principlesProven Excel skillsProven solid analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications:Banking experienceERP systems experience (Oracle, PeopleSoft)Experience with Data analytics tools like SQLExperience with Fiserv or FDRPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment.
