Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Employee Benefits & Compensation)

The Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer (OCHCO) serves as the primary authority for human capital management at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). OCHCO leads department-wide human capital strategy and operations to support a mission-ready workforce through the delivery of integrated services across the full employee lifecycle. As a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Employee Benefits & Compensation), you will:
- Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for agency-wide retirement, pay, and benefits programs for all pay systems, including General Schedule, SES, and executive/political employees.
- Direct and oversee the full lifecycle administration of retirement (CSRS, FERS, VERA, VSIP, and related systems), pay administration, and employee benefits programs, including health insurance, life insurance, Thrift Savings Plan, leave, pay and debt waivers, and other entitlements.
- Serve as a supervisor over the Division. Responsible for retirement, pay, and benefits functions. Plans, assigns, and evaluates work; establishes performance standards, and ensures alignment with organizational priorities.
