Position Overview:
We’re on the lookout for a talented Tax Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll manage and execute tax engagements, offering comprehensive tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to our diverse clients. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s motivated to take on a leadership role and help shape our clients’ success.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of tax engagements, covering tax planning, compliance, and consulting services for individuals, businesses, and other entities.
• Review and oversee the preparation of complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and providing proactive tax advice.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and communicate updates to clients and the team.
• Mentor junior staff, offering guidance, training, and development opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency within the firm.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver well-rounded client solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field; CPA or EA license required.
• At least 6 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax services.
• Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Proven experience in managing and leading tax engagements.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
