Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Performing detailed patient assessments, initiating diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions independently or in collaboration with physicians, depending on your credentials
• Providing education to patients and families regarding prevention, health promotion, and wellness
• Prescribing medications and therapies as permitted within your scope of practice

• Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications Required

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
• Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program accredited by a recognized body

Certifications Needed

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Kentucky
