Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to work with a preschool caseload, serving students ages birth through 8 in an established educational setting. This on-site opportunity is located in the Denver area and starts July 31, 2026, running through May 26, 2027.

You will join a collaborative team and provide services at one location. The schedule follows a Monday–Friday structure (37.5 hours per week); students attend Monday through Thursday, and Fridays are reserved for planning and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, instruct, and support preschool-aged students with disabilities across a continuum of services, including in-class and pull-out formats
• Demonstrate strong knowledge and practical application of standardized assessments for eligibility, as well as literacy and math assessments for student programming
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and caregivers to ensure each student’s educational needs are met
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and compliance documentation

Qualifications:

• At least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Valid Colorado Department of Education certification in one of the following:
  • Early Childhood Special Education (birth–8, grades P3-2)
  • Early Childhood Special Ed Specialist (birth–8, grades P3-2)
  • Early Childhood Special Ed (birth–5, P3-K)
  • Early Childhood Special Ed (3–8, P3-2)
• Familiarity with early childhood development and individualized education plans
• Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Ability to support diverse learners in a supportive, resource-rich environment
• Willingness to complete a background check upon offer
