As a Healthcare Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will respond to security-related incidents, assist with access control, support specialized areas such as the morgue, and help restrain individuals when needed. Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a caring, people-first approach. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sat08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including requests for assistance involving patients, visitors, staff, and hospital operations. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter, while reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity. Assist with access control procedures, visitor management, and directions to support an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Meet hospital vaccination requirements. Be able to work in a hospital morgue. Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
