Production Specialist

Production SpecialistDarigold is seeking a Production Specialist to be a dynamic partner on the Finance Team at Darigold's Portland plant. This role supports daily accounting operations, inventory reconciliation, reporting, and receiving functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.What You Will DoReceive purchase orders and accurately enter receipts for raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and production records daily.Create and distribute reports to supervisors and managers.Perform monthly inventory reconciliations.Support receiving department operations for up to two hours per shift.Maintain accurate records and ensure timely data entry.Assist with general office and accounting support tasks as needed.What You NeedCapable of working both independently and in a team environment.Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.Able to proactively identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective actions.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail with strong follow-up and time management skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally across all levels of the organization.Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.Qualifications1–3 years of accounting or related experience preferred.High school diploma or equivalent required.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and Oracle.Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.10 key by touch.Physical RequirementsAble to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.Capable of working in the receiving department for up to two hours per shift.Ability to occasionally walk through a manufacturing environment.Days of Week Scheduled: Sunday thru Wednesday, 5:00AM-3:30PMBenefits of Working at DarigoldWe understand that as an employee, benefits that support you and your family in and out of work are important.
