Bookkeeper / Office Manager | Caledonia, MI

Salary Range: $48,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with multiple companies in Caledonia seeking experienced Bookkeeper / Office Managers. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Process payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and timely tax filings.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Oversee general office operations, including ordering supplies, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining office equipment.
• Assist with human resources administrative tasks, such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel files.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Demonstrated ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Experience with general office administration, including managing supplies and vendor relations.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Familiarity with manufacturing inventory management principles
• Experience with payroll processing for a varied workforce (hourly, salaried, overtime)
