Sterile Processing Technician - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

5x8-Hour (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday) with holiday rotation. Weekend coverage is not required.

The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the sterilization, decontamination, assembly, and wrapping of surgical instruments and supplies. This position requires a strong attention to detail and adherence to aseptic techniques in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform sterilization and decontamination of medical instruments and devices.
• Assemble and wrap surgical instrument trays according to established protocols.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the processing of instruments.
• Assist with the management of instrument inventory and supplies.
• May be required to float to different campuses as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing.
• Experience in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrapping.
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience is required.
• National certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA.
