Job Description

The Production Supervisor leads all manufacturing activities on the assigned shift, ensuring operations are safe, efficient, and consistently meet quality standards. This role oversees a team of production employees, drives performance against key metrics, and maintains strong communication across shifts to support smooth and reliable production.

Essential Skills

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality, and production processes.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with production employees, peers, and management.
• Effective problem-solving skills to address equipment, process, and personnel issues.
• Demonstrated team management abilities, including coaching, training, and performance management.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Competence in supervising production staff and maintaining accountability for performance and conduct.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working with HRIS and timekeeping systems such as Paycor.
• Familiarity with monitoring and improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Experience creating and maintaining detailed production and shift reports.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical personnel such as Process Technicians.
• Strong organizational skills to support accurate scheduling, documentation, and reporting.

Work Environment

This role operates on a 2nd shift schedule from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work on the production floor, closely interacting with production employees, supervisors, and Process Technicians while overseeing equipment and processes. The setting emphasizes safety, adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, and consistent communication between shifts, with regular documentation and use of HRIS systems such as Paycor to manage timekeeping and production data.

This is a Permanent position based out of Williamston, MI.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Williamston,MI.
