Facility: Eastern New Mexico Medical Center
Location: Roswell, NM
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: August 10, 2026
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts, Every Other Weekend, Floating & Rare Call Required
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Pay Rate: $40/hour
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,440/week (36 hours)

Job Summary

Eastern New Mexico Medical Center is seeking an experienced Medical Surgical LPN/LVN for a 13-week travel assignment. The LPN/LVN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including medication administration, IV therapy, patient education, documentation, and discharge planning in a fast-paced Med-Surg unit.

Requirements

• Active LPN/LVN license

• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical experience

• BLS Certification (Required)

• IV Certification (Required)

• ACLS (Preferred)

• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

• Ability to float as needed (rare)

• Must be available for every other weekend

• New Mexico traveler fingerprinting requirements must be met

• Medical-Surgical Unit

• Patient Ratio: Typically 1:6 (occasionally 1:7)

• EMR: Cerner

• Telemetry: Mindray

• Scrub Color: Royal Blue

• Fast-paced unit with frequent admissions and discharges
