Our Mission is to promote health and wellness through excellent, compassionate care for all.The Family Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing and managing quality health care services to patients of Marin Community Clinics. The provider reports directly to the site Medical Director. Join our talented team at one of our beautiful Marin County California locations.3+ Years of hands on primary care clinical experience is required (experience excludes clinical rotations/clerkships) will consider candidates who have completed a residency hands-on training program of 12 or more month's duration.$50k signing bonus available for select applicants (specific program terms apply)$144,632. - $169,742. salary rangeRelocation assistance availableResponsibilitiesProvides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment for a specified patient population. Consult with staff physicians as needed.Furnishes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions, within their scope of practice.Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate.Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required.Follows established departmental policies, procedures, quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.As appropriate to the position, participates in specific health promotion, education and/or prevention programs.Assists in the ongoing development and implementation of performance-improvement activities such as quality assurance, peer review, and staff development.Maintains a professional relationship with staff and patients.Performs other related and/or necessary tasks to achieve clinic goals and objectives, as directed by the Medical Director.In addition to regularly scheduled shifts, is able to work a minimum of three (3) 4-hour Saturday shifts per calendar year, providing medical care to patients within the standard scope of practice. Requirement begins after 90-day training period.
