Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• 6 months of Epic experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: OHA Healthcare - Qualivis Program and no current placement allowed at Program: OHA Healthcare - Qualivis Program.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: OHA Healthcare - Qualivis Program and no current placement allowed at Program: OHA Healthcare - Qualivis Program.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Clinicians must have at least 18 months of permanent full-time staff experience in the specialty applying to prior to having ever traveled. - Must have 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for; preferably within one location, but can be combined. - Must also have 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience; travel experience will suffice.

Required Credentials: - ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate will be completed during orientation; an acceptable score on both assessments is required.

Special Requests: - All RTO to be discussed during interview and must be included at time of submission. - 1 reference must be from the most recent place of employment. - Engagements are limited to 18 consecutive months.

Shift & Scheduling: - D/N rotating shift: 7pm-7:30am/7am-7:30pm. Shifts may be variable, if needed to meet the operational needs of the hospital. Facility will do their best to honor travelers’ preferred shift but reserve the right to rotate them if necessary. - Traveler must work at least every other holiday.

Floating Requirements: - Potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and ED to care for same patient population.

7 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required
