Part‑time Cybersecurity Professor – Continuous Pool This position is not eligible for benefits. Clark College seeks part‑time Cybersecurity Professors for a hybrid schedule: two days at home, three days on campus. Professors will teach introductory courses in one or more of the following topics: Python programming for beginners CompTIA Network+ CompTIA Security+ IoT (breadboard, sensors, Raspberry Pi/Arduino) Big data analytics (Hadoop, AWS) CompTIA CySA+ This part‑time position is an ongoing recruitment; applications are accepted year‑round. Applicants must be available to teach daytime, evening, or weekend hours. Positions will be filled as program needs arise.

GENERAL FACULTY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Instruct classes using techniques that facilitate student learning. Participate in department and college committees. Pursue professional development and enhance teaching techniques. Work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds. Support the mission of Clark College.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

Associate’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field. Three years of professional IT/IS experience related to the teaching assignment. Teaching experience. Current industry certifications (CompTIA, CISSP) relevant to the courses. Strong oral and written communication skills. SALARY STATEMENT: Lecture rate is $93.18/hour; lab rate is $79.59/hour.
