Sam's Club #8163 101 Conley Rd, Columbia, MO 65201-6465 Requisition: R-177242 Salary: $17.00 - $25.00/hr* Job Type: Full time Shifts may vary Position Summary As a Prepared Food Associate, you’ll support our Club members by preparing, assembling, and providing high‑quality food items while ensuring product safety and meeting operational standards. What you’ll do Be a Team Member: Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate associates, communicate effectively with the team, and remain flexible to support other areas. Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications, plan future productions, manage seasonality, adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, maintain equipment, and demonstrate product layout execution. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement, using handheld technology for real‑time decisions and encouraging new tool adoption. Be an Owner: Drive performance, stock and rotate merchandise, uphold quality and date control standards, eliminate waste, and provide member service by assisting with purchasing decisions and resolving member issues. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate the brand, inspire others, support a respectful, supportive, and team‑oriented work style, and assist with training. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, utilize the Open Door Policy, and apply these in all business processes. Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources, collaborate with managers and partners, identify priorities and deadlines, communicate progress, recommend improvement opportunities, and adapt to change.
