Job Description

The Production Team Member / Assembler supports all stages of manufacturing precast beams, hollow core products, beams and columns, and double T concrete forms. You interpret blueprints and construction drawings, measure and mark materials, and build structural components in accordance with safety, quality, and productivity standards. You work with concrete, rebar, and various construction materials, using hand and power tools to assemble and prepare forms for pouring structural precast products in an outdoor, production-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble concrete forms used for pouring structural precast products, including beams, columns, hollow core, and double T concrete forms.
• Install rebar, plates, mesh, and foam insulation according to construction plans and blueprints to ensure structural integrity.
• Accurately read and use a tape measure to mark, cut, and position materials in line with detailed construction drawings.
• Interpret blueprints and construction drawings to guide layout, assembly, and placement of structural components.
• Operate hand and power tools commonly used in concrete construction, such as saws, drills, grinders, and impact tools, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Stress and secure rebar strands to achieve required structural stability and meet project specifications.
• Follow pre-established guidelines, work instructions, and standard operating procedures to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets.
• Handle and move materials, equipment, and finished components, regularly lifting 50–75 pounds as part of daily tasks.
• Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions while maintaining consistent productivity and attention to safety.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks, support continuous workflow, and meet production schedules.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following housekeeping and safety practices.
• Participate in safety programs, including use of required personal protective equipment and adherence to company safety policies.

Essential Skills

• Experience in labor-intensive or construction-related work, particularly roles involving heavier physical tasks.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure, with confidence in measuring, marking, and verifying dimensions.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools commonly found in construction and general production environments.
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds on a regular basis as part of daily duties.
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions throughout all four seasons.
• Capability to work 8–10 hour days and be flexible for occasional weekend work as needed.
• Ability to meet standard pre-employment requirements, including a drug test and physical.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Construction labor experience, particularly with concrete work, is highly beneficial.
• Experience working with concrete forms, rebar installation, and structural precast components is an advantage.
• Any prior experience as a foreman, lead, or in a supervisory capacity in construction or concrete work is valued and may support higher compensation.
• Experience in general production, assembly, or manufacturing environments is helpful.
• Familiarity with stressing and securing rebar strands is a plus.
• Comfort working in a highly physical, outdoor, and team-oriented setting.
• Willingness to pursue additional training or professional development supported by the company.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, first-shift role in a precast concrete production environment, with most work performed outdoors at a production facility. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, with normal shifts running approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and some days extending until 5:00 p.m. You can expect to work around 50 hours per week, including 8–10 hour days and occasional sporadic weekend work as needed, so flexibility with start times (6:00 a.m. or 7:00 a.m.) and overtime is important. The work involves frequent exposure to outdoor conditions in all four seasons, including heat, cold, wind, and precipitation, and requires consistent use of hand and power tools, concrete materials, rebar, and large structural forms. The environment is physically demanding, with regular lifting of 50–75 pounds and continuous movement throughout the day. Safety is a core focus, with required use of personal protective equipment such as steel-toe boots and safety glasses, supported by reimbursement programs. The setting is a collaborative, production-focused atmosphere where clear procedures, safety standards, and productivity goals guide daily work.

This is a Permanent position based out of Browntown, WI.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $41600.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
