Accounting Specialist

Kinetic Staffing is seeking immediately available Accounting Specialists to support a critical, large-scale corporate project in Wilmington, DE. This short-term engagement is ideal for detail-oriented accounting professionals with strong reconciliation experience and intermediate-to-advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel. These temporary, full-time positions begin on August 17, 2026 , and are expected to last approximately 30 days. This is a 100% onsite position based in downtown Wilmington, DE . Successful candidates will support a dedicated corporate project team by performing high-volume reconciliations, organizing accounting data, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Responsibilities Perform high-volume account and transaction reconciliations. Utilize intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel templates to organize, analyze, and present accounting data. Identify discrepancies, trace variances, and resolve balancing issues using basic accounting principles. Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation throughout the project. Ensure assigned work is completed accurately and within project deadlines. Requirements Associate's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables, and pre-built templates. Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and general ledger reconciliations. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Immediate availability to begin work on August 17, 2026. Compensation $25-30 per hour.
