Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) has an opening for Program Manager 2 (PM) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within the F-35 Program Management organization. This leadership role is an onsite opportunity which may be located in Redondo Beach, CA , El Segundo, CA , or Yuma, AZ. Primary Responsibilities Are Included But Not Limited To Responsibility for profit and loss (P&L) for the PM’s programs. Manage cost, schedule, and technical performance for assigned program scope. Lead cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives and align execution across engineering, plans and schedules, production, quality, and supply chain. Manage supplier performance to meet program and customer objectives Measure and report program performance, including risks, opportunities, and compliance with contractual and technical requirements. Serves as the primary interface with the customer, managing expectations, priorities, and issue resolution while balancing contractual requirements with operational execution constraints. The specific program scope for the PM will be dependent upon their assigned portfolio: Field Support: Manage F-35 fleet modification and/or contractor logistical support (CLS) at multiple domestic sites to maintain / upgrade the F-35 fleet. Sustaining Engineering: Manage engineering support programs to ensure operational readiness and effective mission support for F35 Fleet. Support Equipment: Manage domestic & international suppliers to provide support equipment for stand-up and operations of F-35 bases for USG & foreign partners. Supply Support: Manage internal & external spares and repairs for the F-35 scope managed by NGAS to ensure fleet readiness. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience as defined below, OR a Master’s degree and 6 years of related experience as defined below: Related experience includes professional and/or military experience including project management, program management, sustainment, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions. Profit & loss responsibility with demonstrated ability to achieve financial performance targets and use of Earned Value Management. Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. Government Secret Clearance and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company. Preferred Qualifications Experience on the F-35 program. Experience supporting DoD sustainment programs or contracts. Experience interfacing with external customers. Experience supporting MRO&U operations for aircraft in flightline, field-level, or depot maintenance / mod environments. Experience with aircraft technical documentation generation, field engineering. action requests, and engineering support for fielded aircraft. Experience managing domestic and international suppliers / subcontracts. Experience with executing spares and repairs contracts. Prior military experience, particularly F-35 experience in maintenance, logistics, depot management, and/or sustainment. An active U.S. Government Secret clearance. Primary Level Salary Range: $131,800.00 - $241,700.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
