Transportation Engineer

Overview Wilson & Company’s Omaha, NE office is seeking a Roadway professional with experience in the design of transportation infrastructure, notably streets, highways, and interstates. Roles and Responsibilities Perform roadway design and modeling utilizing Open Roads Designer. Lead and manage tasks on projects of various sizes. Work with experienced designers and project managers as well as collaborating with other disciplines and subconsultants to deliver projects. Primarily working on projects in State of Office Location with opportunities to support regional projects. Efficiently communicate and partner with peers, senior staff, and clients. Preferred Experience and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. NEBRASKA Professional Engineer licensed or ability to obtain within 6 months. 4 - 7 years’ experience in the design of streets and highways in accordance with local, state and/or federal regulations. Ability to effectively work with other engineers and technicians. Background in traffic engineering design and H&H design helpful. Experience in CADD utilizing Open Roads Designer.
